hOW IS IT MADE
Every garment is handmade in my studio in the UK, I draft my own patterns, shop for fabrics, machine sew & hand embellish. The same with jewelry - every product is put together by me featuring handcrafted elements, like beads & flowers.
Items are always based on the original design and always unique to the label. Materials are sourced from all over the world during our travels (we do our best to support local shops), but clothes aren't ever outsourced away from the studio or mass-manufactured.
I never use real fur or leather.
You can follow the story of our items from the sketch, through sewing all the way to editorial photography with MADE videos.
We always strive to support small businesses like ours - so whenever possible (thanks, Covid) we shop small and support local, family businesses!
Find information about where the fabric came from under the Fabric Care tab.
We love fabrics with personality and materials are where we get our inspiration from. There's also few key features we choose our materials by:
high quality means less waste
easy day-to-day care
highest durability for long life
During the pandemic, we thought about what really matters and we made a decision to go green and clean, so in adition to making our packaging fully recyclable - we create in sustainable fabrics (starting with 2021 collection); which means planet-friendly production, fair wages and recycled fibers.
Eco manufacturing came a long way since we started and we're so thrilled to commit to sustainable and conscious fashion.
Read how our materials are kind to the planet and what makes them special in tab Sustainability on the new collection.
